We specialize in corporate and private charters, sailing out of New York and Long Island Sound including Stamford. SHEARWATER spends the winters in the Caribbean offering week long charters in the U.S. Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands. Corporate entertainment for either your clients or staff can take the form of fine dining, buffet style lunch or dinner sails, cocktail sunset sails, staff team building day sails or just fun days in the sun. Other specialties include wedding, anniversary and birthday parties or friend and family reunions.
SHEARWATER is much more than just 82 feet of Georgia Pine, her exterior features flawlessly maintained brightwork, magnificent large polished brass portholes and chrome trim. Her large teak decks offer extensive seating and relaxing areas. The interior is reminiscent of a bygone era, finely finished in exotic hardwoods. A spiral staircase leads down to the mahogany paneled passageway, past staterooms beautifully decorated with period furnishings and into the elegant salon with it's leaded glass cabinets, fireplace, traditional butterfly hatches and large gimbaled table. The exquisite marble finished head is close at hand for your convenience. All of this contributes to an ambiance that will satisfy your most discriminating expectations.
