THE GOAL:

THE CLASSROOM:
Spend the day aboard the SHEARWATER, a classic 82' sailboat beautifully restored to her original 1929 splendor. USCG certified for 48 passengers, the SHEARWATER provides upscale sailing charters and fine dining for corporations and private parties.

THE EXERCISE:
Your group will be divided into different teams. Teams will initially be separated and assigned to various stations including Helm, Navigation, Sail Handling, Bow Watch and Captain. In the morning, general objectives and training will be given to each team and to the group as a whole thereafter. After lunch, you'll weigh anchor, set sail and control the magnificent SHEARWATER yourselves. The unpredictable variable winds, the challenge of training your co-workers - in a task you have not mastered - Create the recipe for an unforgettable day of spirited, team-oriented competition and fun.
